Our guest speaker, Phil Alexander, shares his vast experience having worked in top football clubs across Europe. Nic Coward and Rob Miller acted as moderators.

Phil Alexander has been CEO at Bristol City FC since February 2023. He was previously the CEO at Crystal Palace where he served for 26 years. During this period, he oversaw Crystal Palace’s promotion to the Premier League in 1997, 2004 and 2013 – where they have remained since then. Whilst at Crystal Palace, he became the longest-serving Premier League CEO and in 2022, was named Premier League CEO of the Year at the Football Business Awards.
Phil played for England schoolboys, professionally for Norwich City and was a place-kicker for the London Monarchs American Football team, winning the World Bowl at Wembley Stadium in 1991, before moving into football administration.
